Atheists read the Bible and find plenty to criticise it.
However it so cleverly written, that there are levels of understanding at so many levels in even the most simple texts.
Many texts have been misunderstood for years until contemporary events have unlocked them.
This is worth more than instant dismissal by atheists.

Everyone takes what they want from the Bible - and maybe Harry Potter too; there is no absolute truth.

Khandro, //Everyone takes what they want from the Bible - and maybe Harry Potter too; there is no absolute truth.//

If error exists, as we know it does, then the whole must be called into question. Lauding the virtues of the bible and then simply taking what you want is convenient but it’s unethical.

In my opinion Harry Potter offers greater value in lessons on life, love, and morals.

Homer? Pah! Have a puff at Harry Potter.
What nonsense, Khandro!

Have you read Harry Potter?
