My Barclaycard bill didn’t arrive in March and neither did my neighbour’s. I always pay the account online but she is ninety and doesn’t have internet. She tried to ring Barclaycard but couldn’t understand what the person was saying at the other end.

I have been able to pay both our accounts online today but I am wondering if anyone else has not received their bill by post in March.

I would make sure they have a record of your difficulty

[I usually dont worry to much if it has happened to someone else - after all it happened to me!]
If you are registered, log into their website and see if you have been registered as 'paperless'.

If so, just cancel that and request paper bills.

I am paperless, so they e mail me when my bill is ready to view.

Neither of us is paperless. Both my neighbour and myself normally receive our bills in the post on or about a certain date each month. My neighbour is internetless.
Why dont you set up a direct debit to pay the minimum amount .. then you wont receive a late payment charge, even if the late payment wasn't your fault.
Perhaps they have stopped sending paper bills out - they are assuming everybody has internet?
yes, see if alavahalf's suggestion works for her. That's why I set up a DD - my payment was mailed in good time but got held up in Christmas traffic and I incurred a charge
A direct debit for the minimum amount payable.....doesn't that mean interest payable on the balance that hasn't been payed?
Yes Ginge, but it doesn't stop you making further payment. At least it guarantees you won't miss a payment, which can affect your credit rating.

Also if it is a balance transfer card, missing a payment can incur bigger penalties.
Ah, yes...I've always paid off the balance in full before the due date.
Perhaps I'm too organised as I've never missed a payment date!

Both my neighbour & myself always pay our Barclaycard bills off in full each month. I pay online after receiving a bill in the post.

My neighbour sends her cheque with the tear-off slip at the foot of her bill in the envelope provided each month, paying the total amount.

She did not received a bill in March but I was able to pay online for her. She approximated what her total would be for that month.

It just seems strange that neither of us has received a bill in the post for March and I was wondering if any other Barclaycard customers had had the same experience.
