Wow HARSH!!

Yes i did say dying.... i should have said ??dying as im not sure.

Like I said I assumed
It was a youngster & just tried to help.

Thank you all for the lovely advice its been a pleasure xx
It's unlikely to be a wasp. It's too early for them. It's more likely to be a honey bee. They are not to be confused with their larger cousins, the bumble bee, and they look remarkably similar to wasps.

I saw it on the floor last night NJ and hes made his way a distance in thr kitchen.... so has some energy. Not sure what to do for the best.... ill see how the water goes xx
For the best i'd just put it outside, maybe it needs to wind under its wings for an environment it's more use to.

Spath i might do that.... somewhere a bit sheltered xx
Sounds like a plan Tinks
Also think highly unlikely to be a wasp, too early unless it's a queen. does it look the same size and colour as the type that land on a sandwich?!! Got to admire you tinks, if it were a wasp I probably would swat it but a bee I'd try really hard to save it, put outside on a flower might help it.
bees are way more fluffy than wasps
Bees carry around a pouch full of honey - wasps don't

That's how you tell the difference - i thought everybody knew that !!
Well done tink...if we killed all the wasps where would we get jam from?

Look what thought did Bazile!!

Some of you can take the goodness out of anything :0>
There is no way of knowing why it is dying, it may be disease or old age, so you may be more humane in killing it quickly.
The weather has been so up and down that nature seems to be a bit effed up.
Thinks it’s almost certainly a honey bee - they are the same shape as wasps. It’s too early for wasps I believe. The sugar water is all you can do - Ive revived several last year. If you can gently push it onto the spoon and put outside somewhere sheltered then you’ve done your best x
