Cleaning the keyboard yesterday I am getting for ( ' '¿¿ _______ all different symbols all over the place. Remember somebody telling me how to correct this thanks.

no not working, when I go into Control Panel ' the UK setting is already clicked on to. When somebody gave me the instruction before I didn{t have to go through all this. I just done something on the keyboard. BTW where is the Fn button ' thanks

thanks Tilly somebody said to use that key and F11 but nothing happened. that wee key I used has a like a wavey flag on it

Try

press CTRL+SHIFT (press CTRL first and while holding press SHIFT, sometimes you have to do it twice in a row to disable.)

i am getting to areas of choosing UK etc but it is always in UK anyway '

found an old answer from Togo - it was Windows key and space key together - it worked. Thanks all who answered.
