All well and good if the people whom this information applies are made aware and then act on its advice and instructions.
All sorts of blame and accusations were levelled at the recent government with regard to the Windrush matter some, I have no doubt, justified.
A fact which seems to have been brushed under the carpet by the Windrush immigrants was at some stage after arrival in the UK they were invited to apply for IlR by the government of the day. Most did not believe it applied to their circumstances and some wouldn't pay the fee required. The consequence of that was the later generation are being refused a UK passport and refused NHS long term treatment. This was discussed on LBC radio whereby this information was disclosed.

I don't trust this government to run a booze up in a brewery.
First they said you had to pay£85 and fill in an 80 page form,then they reduced it to £60,then they said you didn't have to pay but could do it by phone app introduced by Amber Rudd ,when she was Home Sec who said EU registration will be"as easy as shopping at LK Bennett". Some people have said using the app was a nightmare.
My husband has been been here for nearly 45 years and paid his way so why he should have to register to become a third class citizen in the country he's called home for all these years is disgraceful.

in unchanged ( and governed by the 1922 anglo irish legislation and NOT the EU legislation)
Because the Common Travel Area and the right of an Irish citizen to settle and work in the U.K. without restriction pre-dates the E.U., Brexit has no effect on immigration laws for the Irish Citizen.
