I haven't Khandro but there have been many threads on this - look at some related threads below.
I haven't personally. But a friend of mine has and swears by it.
Not sure if it may be the Placebo affect. But if it helps. Then why not give it a try.
Khandro, I don't know anything about cannabis oil but I know someone who has discovered sour cherry juice and says that after just a week her pain has been greatly alleviated. Holland & Barrett sell it, as does Amazon.
I have not tried it.

A close friend of mine uses it for Rheumatoid arthritis and says it helps. However, he manages to obtain THC also, which is illegal.

I would recommend a trial dose of Cannabidiol.

"As of 2018, preliminary clinical research on cannabidiol included studies of anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain."

Mrs K. Has chronic neck pain, considering this as an alternative to pain killers. We have two bottles and some cream brought from the States by our son, but have no instructions on how to administer it and in what quantities.
Is the cream only for external problems (skin) or can it act like the other pain relieving creams?
CBD has a bell chart tolerance unless taken with THC.

Do you understand what a bell chart means?

I would administer the creme directly to area affected solo.

See how it is.

I would then take a small dose of oil orrally solo

See how it is.

It's trial and error.

The bigggest debatable about CBD is how subjective it is, especially for dosage. I am sorry to say you'll just have to trial and error it. Make sure to take notes of how much and of what you taker, then how you feel.

Use these notes to find a suitable dosage for yourself.
Sorry.. For Ms K!
"Is the cream only for external problems (skin) or can it act like the other pain relieving creams?"

It can and does act like other pain relieving creams.

Try it on it's own, see how it goes for the Mrs. If it doesn't work after a hour, try a bit more? If it still doesn't work, try some oral supplements.
Unless it is cosmetic cream Khandro, i don't believe in CBD and cosmetics together load of tosh lol, but for example this product (you already have a product from the states you can compare it to) will provide deep muscle relief.

Regarding hemp botanics, it's a london based CBD company on portobello road. I trust them, they are good. I do not endorse them at all, but i have bought their products before. I don't want a moderator or ed to think i'm plugging this website. I am not. Along wiht "CBD Brothers" they are the onyl people i would trust whit CBD. That is hemp botanics, and CBD brothers. Holland and barret is trusty, jsut not the best CBD you can buy.
It really helped my old dear but she has osteo. What type of arthritis are you suffering with? If it's rheumatoid then please consider AIP.

My Mum got her oil from CBD Brothers. They have real good support as well. Good luck
