That the western world doesn’t care about what happens in Africa is patently untrue. The west gives billions to Africa. I suspect the media doesn’t pick up on it because the acts of perpetrators are inconveniently controversial and the negative publicity that would engender could be damaging to social cohesion and the quest for acceptance of diversity.
Have Boko Haram been up to anything of late?
ag, they never stop.
Naomi, haven't heard much in the media but I guessed so!

It would seem that according to the Home Office, Christianity is not a religion of peace, so perhaps that has something to do with the lack of sympathy towards Christians.

Perhaps this Iranian asylum seeker should have remained a Muslim then maybe she would have been welcomed with open arms.

Do you listen to the news? This from today's Guardian

/// UK-funded kits that can provide emergency shelter for up to 38,000 people have arrived in the country, and the Department for International Development has provided funds for two weeks’ worth of food for 120,000 people as part of £18m worth of aid to Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe. ///

And that is just the UK.
