I'm being evicted from my flat in a month as the landlord is selling up, so I'm going to move right into the centre of London and attempt to be a proper city boy. My old workmate was showing me around some areas that I might like to live. Except our feet got tired of walking and drinking seemed more fun!

Where abouts were you? We're looking at Docklands, Wapping etc at the moment, but are not really fixed on anything. I know that it's smog central, and it's not pleasant waking up with black snot (yuck), but everyone shoud try it once! Give me a month and I'll be a full on pearly queen, spouting rhyming slang left right and centre.

Went to Frogs a couple of weeks ago but the floor was being repainted and hadn't dried so was closed, I'd never heard of it before then but basically it opens about 11 and there's some bands on but there is also usually a well known band on later, I think the kaisers have played there and the artic monkeys etc... the usual rable. The night I was due to go it was supposed to be boy kill boy and since I like their new song I was a bit miffed! They don't advertise tho so you just turn up on the night and it's pot luck.

I work in Southwark. It's nice to be able to walk into Waterloo, or pop along to Borough Market on a Friday for my lunch. That'll help clear the hangover.

It certainly was Fall Out Boy, although you're lucky, it's not Charlie "Eyebrows" Busted's new band. That's Fightstar, and a massive pile of over angsty codswallop they are too! Mind you, Fall out Boy are a bit too emo for my liking as well.
When I get back I'll probably feel like a bit of a kip, so if you could keep watch and wake me up if anything exciting happens, that would be great.

Oh thank god for that! I nearly lost my reputation there... yikes! Never heard of fightstar. I only know dance dance dance to be honest and I'm not about to go seeking them out really... think they're a bit too teenage angst for me in general.
