Does anyone know if you can take an iPad into the cabin on a BA flight to and from New York please?

The restriction was lifted some time ago. Came back from Turkey early Jan and no problem with iPad.

I always take mine in handluggage on any flight. Maybe BA has different rules though- not used them recently

There is a restriction for iPads on flights FROM many European countries plus Turkey but the BA website doesn’t make it very clear about the USA.
The restriction was lifted some time ago. Came back from Turkey early Jan and no problem with iPad.
I remember when you had to be able to show all ipads and phones were fully charged but I haven't seen those checks and notices for a year or two now
Took mine and a laptop with no problem to Miami. Nobody asked any questions regarding these items.

Yes and some planes have charging points available.
Cabin baggage is one case that fits in overhead locker and one handbag or laptop bag to go under seat
