HIA a lot of highstreet shops now do online so they cover both grounds, for example top shop etc.. but asos is killing the market with prices and range, they offer everything. People like the one stop shop, especially when they're paying delivery or petrol. So i do totally agree with you
Britain needs to lose weight so bring on Brexit - it will help reduce the NHS bill as well.

Anyway back to the OP, Tesco is a business, if customers dont use something that is taking valuable floor space it will go. A lot of these alleged losses it appears will come from administerial and middle management. Clearing the dead wood out is normal for most big companies. Middle management often build an empire hat then needs clearing.

I am not sure about the link with high employment unless you are making the comment to show that perhaps things wont be so bad for those who loose their jobs as there is plenty of work about?

they don't record dignity of people they record exploitation of people. Which is why working 1 hr a week can count you as employed.
