My Sony Experia keeps disconnecting from home WiFi. Google tells me to go to settings / advanced settings but I don't seem to have advanced settings

As well as trying things related directly to your phone it might be worth power cycling your router. (i.e. disconnecting the power, waiting a minute or two and then reconnecting). It's amazing how often that fixes 'dropping wi-fi' problems!
