The HIDA scan was not too bad at all apart from them taking 30 minutes to find a vein to put canula in. It was not claustrophobic at all. I was able to watch TV. It took 2 hours I had 1 hour of them looking at everything as it was and I was given a disgusting milky drink but bingo half an hour afterwards the pain started under right rib cage into centre of my back all being recorded on the scan results when I get a follow up appointment

Feedback much appreciated gordie........
30 minutes to find a vein? Is there a reason why? Mine takes seconds.
Some people have rubbish veins ummmm. A phlebonomists nightmare .
And the patient! Blimey, must be distressing.
It’s a full on side show trying to find my veins!
The phlebotomist didn’t even attempt it again after my sleeve surgery and my cannula came out he told me to drink more
They always put the cannula in my hand.
