One to watch.
Indeed it could - Laura Kuenssberg, the BBC's Political Editor refers to it as ' .. very serius indeed.' in her tweet on the subject.

Jeremy Corbyn was never going to be a sereious contender for the role of Prime Minister, even before this debacle kicked off, it's just a matter of time before Labout put pragnatism over rommance and get rid.
The standards required even just to warrant an investigation laid out by EHRC are quite high - essentially they need to have reason to suspect that it has breached the Equality Act. The fact that Labour - the party which created that law - has even met those requirements is in itself pretty shocking, let alone anything that comes out of the investigation. In a grim kind of way it would be kind of fitting I suppose if a law made by Blairites finally did for the current leadership.

(One small silver lining I think is that this incident does at least show for all its flaws that the Equality Act is a valuable piece of legislation.)

What a deeply, deeply depressing episode in our history this is.
"possible" As with so many many things these days "might", "Maybe" "Could" "may" etc.

I will opinionate when there is something concrete to comment on.

I wont be holding my breath.
"It's just a matter of time" Andy 11.11, sooner the better, if only.
I thought Jeremy was your hero, Gulliver, and suddenly you don't want him to be Prime Minister? What made you go off him?
The thing is, even if Corbyn left this afternoon - can we really be sure all this would be gone with him? He's been in charge of the party for three years and has, obviously, changed it substantially. How many more Chris Williamsons are there, quietly biting their tongues until all this blows over?

And all at a time when we have one of the most disastrous Tory governments in living memory - a time when a strong and credible opposition is desperately needed. How utterly grim.
*Four years, sorry.

there is a rule that one can skip local remedies if they are totally crip - which everyone tries of course but few succeed (of course)

not a dry eye in the house!
All good if it hastens Corbyn's exit.
Laura Murray, daughter of (ex-?) Communist Scottish toff Andrew Murray was controversially given a job on labour’s independent complaints group - and I see she is now calling for the abolition of the EHRC. Strange bedfellows ...
