I’m booking the appointment for the Bridesmaids dresses tomorrow - SIL to be said yes.

Now I’m having a Bridesman as my best friend is a chap. OH is having a best woman and she’s coming too obviously.

Do I ask my Bridesman to come along too so that we can see the shade of dress so he can get his suit to match as closely as we can?

Yes I would personally. It's a bridesquote[persons] event so take your squad :)

Thank you Spathy. I just don’t want him to not feel included but I don’t want him to feel awkward either.
Ask him if he wants to come

I’m actually just about to RR..you must be in tune with my fingers, all he can say is no.

But I can possibly get a swatch of dress fabric so he can find a suit in the colour if he can’t. I know he has a lot of commitments.
Jeez you're well organised. I'm nowhere near that a my shindig is in June!
Hi, you are having a brides man, fiancé is having a best women, why don’t you just swap them, save a lot of faffing about queenie ?
matching mans suit to a bridesmaids frock? Lets hope she choses black or grey or midnight blue rather than pink or apricot because a man in an apricot suit, for example, may not look good....IMO. Having said that no one would look good in apricot !
Why not have have his tie and maybe a pocket thingy made in the same material as your bridesmaids dresses instead?

Lol...still time Barmaid, I accidentally ‘booked’ the photographer earlier. We are pencilled in.

There isn’t much faffing Anne, my best friend is a male and he and OH have only met twice. He is still swithering about a best man. We are both very close to his Best Woman and as they are really good close friends it was decided that would be her role.

MallyJ - colours are Navy and Silver. Best Woman is going in silver or a grey if we can’t find a nice Silver and my maids BM in Navy so shouldn’t be too hard.

I like the idea Parsely but I want the bridal/groom party to match as much as possible. I’m a stickler for matching.
Why not have a common colour palette (like grey and blue), with one item that everyone has in the same material, then. Perhaps a sash on your bridesmaids dresses, ties, cravats or a button hole fabric flower. Let your imagination run wild, it doesn't need to be expensive. Good luck.
