"I can predict the two removed random QUESTIONS"....@ 13.3 Fix, fix....

What I do find disingenuous is the fact that when someone phones a friend the friend always answers with just 'hello' - very few people I know do that - they either say their number or name - but without fail everyone on phone a friend makes out they are surprised to receive the call! Also its never engaged, answerphone or no answer - they must be told to expect the call.
I always answer the phone with 'hello, what do you want?'. I NEVER giver my name or number when I answer the call.
....and probably not at home but in a nominated ITV studio.

Yes, the 'phone a friend' friend must be in a supervised environment at the required time to ensure only he/she answers the phone and doesn't have access to the internet, reference books etc
I think Jim programmed the computer.
I totally agree with SK. I don't watch the ones with Clarkson, but on the original Tarrant ones, I always thought this !!
hereiam, Assuming that you are correct and the obviously wrong ones are removed.1, How is this a fix? 2.to who's advantage?
The game producers of course. With no advantage from the lifeline the chances of a correct answer and bigger win are no better.
They’re removing two of the possibilities. What more do you want?
The snake example is a classic. If they’d still had phone a friend thy could have used it that next. Or even ask the audience.
Presumably they didn’t.
