Spath, for instance, is unable to get to grips the female take on saving money. If he is going to survive he's going to have to learn.

Earlier today I propped, outside our house right by the front door, a bright orange and white ironing board with the following notice:

FREE......PRISTINE AND UNUSED BECAUSE IT BELONGED TO DAVE.

Dave has been walking past this ironing board and notice for about three hours and only just spotted it.... :-)

My mother always said i got my observance from her.. My dad I don't think took any notice of what she was saying ;)

He probably had something that was far more important on his mind.
So are you and S-D a thing now then?
A male colleague rented a flat from a mutual friend and was there for a couple of years.

When he moved out his landlady commented on how clean his oven was on the cooker. He admitted that he hadn't used it, not even once, whilst he was there.

He is still living with his mum - aged 54.

Yes, he had much more pressing things on his mind.
Has anyone seen where i left my pencil case? I could of sworn i left it in ChatterBank

I think i'm finally starting to understand Gness. If i go to buy a new car, but end up getting a second hand one, i'm actually saving a fair few ££?

Exactly, Spath...you're getting there....

Now if Dave can understand that an ironing board is not an extra nibbles table when we have a party....and that heavy thing with the plug is not for holding the door open when he takes delivery of his malt whiskey we'll be getting somewhere!
I'll be putting Martian Lewis to shame before you know it Gness!

Sounds like Dave is living the true life gness, parties, nibbles you must treat him well
I have neither an ironing board or an iron.
Free offers is not saving money nor enticing. try # reduced to 99p from RRP £19.99 - 1 male owner #

That's saving £19
this thread has given me a brilliant idea of what to buy doris for her birthday
ok bought mrs TonyVs birthday present , thought is was her birthday today, but am week early, but present is non perishable
I have an iron.

Although, I only iron a shirt in two situations: band gigs and dates, since, as you know Gness, ironing a shirt shows commitment. ;o)
It's only necessary to be aware of the important things. Better not to waste resource on the rest.
