My boiler is still playing up so I reported it to Saga. The plumber has just called to say he will be here to fix it in the morning as there is a vulnerable elderly person in the house.

Dave refuses to believe that the plumber was referring to him......but he was....wasn't he?...... ;-)

We were watching something the other morning where an 'elderly woman' had been hit by a bus. I was incensed, she was 5 years younger than me!

Gness, because of my Type 2 Diabetes, British Gas would treat me as vulnerable were there to be a power cut or gas leak. And i don't mind at all if it means getting preferential treatment :-)

Well I am getting the boiler fixed quickly, Ken.....but I'm sure it's down to Dave being elderly....and I'm sticking to that!!!!...... ;-)

I go on any vulnerable list that will have me, I've even got a card I can wave if I walk into people - not that I can ever find it in my bag before they've limped away.
