I’ve just spent the last 45 minutes coming out of what felt like the worlds worst hypo.

I could barely walk, tried to put on slippers to go out to my car to get my second meter to double check, tried to make a sandwich with 2 spoons. Decided it would also be good to open the freezer and fridge doors and sit and stare at them.

Never in my life have I ever been like this. Now I feel sick, still shaky and tired. Generally feel horrible.

I hope that you're starting to feel better.

Have you established for certain that the cause of the problem was low blood sugar? I felt very similar many years ago when i nearly died from carbon monoxide poisoning due to a blocked flue behind a gas fire. (I only mention it in case you've got faulty gas central heating. If you had you could go to bed and never wake up from your sleep).
What's your sugar level saying Queenie?

I’m Type One Chris, was definitely low blood sugar. We have a CM detector, I think we actually have two.

Was 3 Calico with a downwards arrow. I’m now 11 and stabling our.
It's odd that you should feel so bad with a blood sugar level of 3. I'm not diabetic but my blood sugar levels can be very erratic. The lowest I've recorded is 2.1 and I felt fine. Perhaps there's something else coming into play?
2.1 is very low Buen.

Hope you continue to settle Queenie.x
But are you diabetic, Chris?

My hypo range is 4 and below. I usually feel ok at four. It really depends on the severity and how sudden the drop. Everyone is different though. I’ve had readings of 2 and below and haven’t felt this vile.

There is a few facors that could be why it happened but it’s not something that can be pin pointed sadly. This isn’t the first low my body has tried to have today. Staved one off this afternoon.

I’ve had a turbulent few weeks so my body is still readjusting from that.

Thank you Mamya.

I can feel awful at anything below 4, so not surprised you're feeling foul. Hope you're doing better now x
Sorry to hear this Queenie, hope things are improving for you.

I’m sitting at 10 now. It says stable. But I have a feeling there could be another lurking in the wings.
I’m only 3 hours into my quick acting and I’m about to take my slow acting.
I wouldn’t mind but I had a sandwich, a bagel, handful of jelly tots and a cake yet here I am at 10 and stable.

Starting to question a few things Calico - if you know what I mean.

Thank you Marval x
I do, and you should, I was very erratic, actually had a dreadful time with it and needed to be very very careful. Let me know! x

Do you have a throwaway Calico?

I will keep an eye on things..I’m about to go to bed but I’m not keen. I’ve been running much lower than normal before. Before Xmas I was running at 6-8 now I’m 5-7 but dropping more the last few days.
