As the former MP who practiced as a solicitor was sentenced to 3 months for lying about a traffic offence, could she be disbarred if she loses her appeal (frankly seems a frivolous one to me)?

If there is any justice, yes she should be disbarred, who would want to employ her?
Yes, she should be disbarred ! Under the law a Solicitor who is sentenced to anything over 1 month in jail can be disbarred. In this case a solicitor has been proved to have lied in Court under Oath ! That is a serious criminal offence. Not only should she be disbarred , she should be in jail! In theory atleast 'lieing Under Oath' is still a possible Death sentence . The death penalty was ONLY abolished for murder. It is still a possible sentence for 'Perjury' (lieing under Oath) and setting fire to a Navy dockyard !

I think you may find that is incorrect and no longer applies.
It remained one of the few capital offences after reform of the death penalty in 1861, and remained in effect even after the death penalty was permanently abolished for murder in 1969. However, it was then eliminated by the Criminal Damage Act 1971.
So we can look forward to Ms Onasanya being hanged by the neck until she is dead (and may the Lord have mercy on her soul) for lying about who was driving her car. I'll get my knitting and secure a front row seat at Tyburn, to eagerly await her arrival in chains! :-)
