Advertisement On All4

I am watching the whole of the series Ride upon the Storm on All4. As with other programmes I have to put up with 3 or 4 advertisement slots that I can't fast forward. But other friends watching via Virgin or Sky don't get the ads. I have Freeview and a "smart " TV.
I would be grateful for any thoughts on this. Thankyou.

My thought is that's what All4 does, because it can, and it provides them revenue. Virgin or Sky subscribers have already subscribed.
