well, I usually like watching a decent bout, but this, to me, wasn't one of those.
Close scoring, but not a good match to watch imo.

Shame really, as it promised so much but failed to deliver

Who won?

Butterbun, unanimous decision, Eubank jnr, even after one point was deducted.
Sometimes I felt it was a bit like watching mixed martial arts :D

Thanks Balders, I knew it was on the radio, but managed to watch it, which was a nice change for me
A miss match then, alba.

I reckon so, our kid.
Looking forward to the heavyweights - AJ fighting who?
cor, whichever could be an interesting watch.

I ain't blood-thirsty, but I like watching some pugilists go at it, might be an idea for some politicians?? :-)))

The only pugilist I couldn't watch was the younger Alba and that was just a charity bout.
I didn't see or hear the match, but am surprised, gobsmacked even. Good on him though after all the doubters had their say.
Thanks for the link Baldric.
Butterbun, apparently even his own dad didn't truly believe he would win.
Alba; too much of a grudge match to be a classic, imho. All those expecting a classic in the Liverpool/United game tomorrow may be in for a disappointment, too.

Butterbun, the next time you hear of a bout coming up, tune into Talksport on a Saturday night, their coverage is pretty good.

Ken, I forgot about that footie match tomorrow. Am not a footie fan, but was hoping it might be a good game of footie with skill shown from both sides - or am I just being optimistic?
Thanks alba, have made a note of it.
Ken, his dad will be very pleased even if he has to eat his words.
There's obviously reason for optimism, Alba, given the quality of both sides and there have been classic matches between the two. However, there have also been 2 rather drab 0-0 draws in recent times, albeit both at Anfield where United more or less 'parked the bus'. This is really a 'must win' for Liverpool just as Spurs' visit to Turf Moor was yesterday. And we all know what happened here, don't we :-) :-) :-)
