Well back to a semblance of normality after the "flu" scare. Some of last week's races are to be run at Ascot today but it is not the same really. Small fields again in a lot of the races as trainer's eyes turn towards the festival, so I have stuck with horses that I know mainly in the handicap fields of opportunity. No large stakes but can cover a poor start if needs be. Keep my powder dry and funds high with Cheltenham just around the corner.

Black Corton @3/1 2.10 Ascot
Blue Rambler @20/1 2.55 Haydock
Getaway Trump @11/2 3.20 Ascot*
Yala Enki @11/1 3.35 Haydock.

£1.00 E/W Acca. 4 X 30p E/W Trebles. 6 X 30p Doubles. £7.00 Total Stake.

Afternoon and good luck, Togo. Running a tad late today thanks to having an on line argument with AVG for taking £70 off me that i never authorised. Managed to get them to see things my way and a full refund is expected within the next 7 working days. Had to jump through a few hoops though :-(

1.00 Asc; Cloudy Glen @ 6/1
2.55 Hay; Silva Eclipse @ 6/1
3.20 Asc; Didtheyleaveuoutto @ 9/1 (less for e.w. extra place)
3.55 Hay; Imperial Star @ 8/1

Win singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca (will v prob choose a couple of rev f/cs later on). 4 placed = approx £54, 4 winners = approx £5,210
You have got one loser already because I have backed Black Corton,£5 win. lol

Haha.....Oh ye of little faith. Put that in as my, first off, banker. AVG scammers. They set the sites up to auto renew if you don't cancel. Same modus operandi as Amazon Prime and a few of the other hard sell sites.
First one ducks, non runner later so, with some of my winnings from Knockaert FGS min the early cup match, i've had another Lucky 15.

The Paddy Pie, Silva Eclipse, Smoking Gun and Robinsfirth. £20 odd for the e.w. and £2,908 for all to win.

Gone for JayRod FGS in the Villa v WBA match with the Baggies to win 2-1 @ 9/1.
3 winners and a close 2nd for £120.68 return plus the 3 x £5 win singles = a decent £225.68 return from the 2nd bet. Typically, though, Jayrod gets the 2nd goal for the Baggies. Still a few races to play with:-)
