Hi everyone - this is the next continuation thread, the last one is here -

https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Sport/Football/Question1637212.html

I hope the New Year has been good for you all so far?

Don't forget that while their respective national sides are still in the Asian Cup, a few players aren't available, the ones I can think of are - Heung-Min Son (Spurs); Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield); Mat Ryan (Brighton).

Anyone with Harry Kane in a team might want to transfer him out for now as (according to reports) he's sidelined with an ankle injury until March.

Keep on having fun & be well, all :-))

Bump for this evening's match - West Ham v Liverpool at 8:00 - if you've any of their players, might as well make them Captain...
Hey... that's a good plan. It's no wonder you're good in Q&P's.

Afternoon all - a reminder that the last match of Game Week 26 is this evening - Everton v Man City - kick-off 7:45.
Hi L.I.K, just to think less than two weeks ago Liverpool were 7 points clear at the top but might find themselves in second after this evening albeit with a game in hand but quite amazing even giving Spurs a slight chance if they keep tripping up. Europe around the corner as well.

Makes for more exciting footy imo - all teams up there know nothing's certain :-)
It does indeed, the pressure is on... top two have to come to play at OT. As if both aren't big enough fixtures anyway.

Afternoon everyone - here's the schedule for Game Week 27 -

Sat - 7 matches, 1st kick-off 12:30
Sun - 2 matches, 1st kick-off 1:30
Mon - 1 evening match, kick-off 8:00

The next "Overhaul" (free transfers) period begins immediately *after* that evening match on Monday, so I'll post on Monday afternoon with a reminder of how it works.

Have a good weekend & be well, all :-)

It's understandable that people are keeping on eye on the pot and another up the chimney

Doh - "...one eye..."
All done and dusted regarding Captains and taking a gamble on a doubtful player but so close to the overhaul period I don't really want to use any unnecessary transfers.

I thought King Erics' Seagul and trawler analogy was weird, no idea what KK is on about.

What a great weekend that was. Not.

Hush up, Sarky ;-)

I know I said I'd post about the free transfer period today, but think I'd rather do it tomorrow in a new thread (when an Ed will be around to sticky it) - hope that's ok.

One match this evening - kick-off 8:00 - if you've any players from Wolves or Newcastle to make Captain.

Hi L.I.K, I wasn't going to mention last weekends He-he game for fear of jinxing Mondays game.

I have subscribed nice one.

Oooh, you can go right off some folk...
Two month ago I thought it'd take a miracle even to finish fifth.
