It’s February! Nearly Spring!

Jo's post encouraged me to get stuck into the wine too.....

Dave has cooked another wonderful meal while I curled up by the fire with my crochet.....

The experimental crochet I've done has worked much better than I expected......

So I'm cheerful...... :-)

Off to do the big theme park rides in Orlando on Wednesday for my second 70th birthday celebration, did it last year too !!!

hope you haven't shrunk too much over the year, zebo, they might not let you on some of the rides!

We got the solar thermal system re-antifreeezed and a small leak fixed for just an arm, not the expected arm and a leg.
Chorizo little grilled croquette things for supper with salad rice and millet.
It's going to get warmer [O K wetter, but still warmer]
We should have enough seasoned fire wood to get us through the rest of the winter.
Us two, cat, and more distant family happy and well.
And I will soon have an extra 25p. per week to spend how I like as I will be 80.

Jno, I had no problem last year!!! My only concern is that OH will be constantly saying Oh, I wish the grandchildren were here!

Central heating boiler broke, guttering pulled apart, road closed for three weeks, turned into three months.
But, this too will pass...don’t worry, be happy.

That goes without saying, Naomi, but with he and I both being so unwell for so many weeks, it's hard to raise a smile.

He's a smashing little boy though and I'm prodigiously proud and thankful.
