My wife and I invested the max in Ernie about 10 days ago. Our Building society dropped it's interest rate by 1% so we were already geting zilch interest. Too late for February but am hoping for good things for the rest of the year at least.
I invested a good bit of my commuted pension when I retired in the 90s and for the first two years the cheques dropped in regularly and then they became less regular. (Largest was £500). We just withdrew it and put it towards a house in Dorset.
Hi Ric.......Dave's cheery this month with 3X25........and just the one 25 for me......I've stocked up on Beetroot Juice with mine.....Dave will probably be looking at wine right now.... :-)
Well done on your £25,n Whistonian! As Darcey says it is a numbers game but there are folk who think only recently bought bonds win so they will cash in and buy again in the hope of winning........
Another theory is that you are more likely to win if you send Ernie a Valentine's card.....you're just in time to try that one..... ;-)
Lucky you!
My son has quite a lot of bonds but has never won a thing.
I've got a single one that my aunt bought for me when I born. (Long time ago!) I've never won a thing either.
