until a doctor comes along on his rounds, is this any help?

Incidentantal ? That means that they were not really looking for it and it had no bearing on the investigation underway and of no relation to the present problem.
Almost certainly no big deal or life threatening.
However....depending upon your past medical history or ongoing medical problems and the site of the lymph node, will further investigation be necessary.
Incidental and unimportant findings on MRI scans are not unusual.
I had a brain scan once; but they told me not to worry as they didn't find anything.
