I can sense you are getting frustrated by this one. I think we establishe dthere was an Oliverfilm in 1968 but it's possible that was just a coincidence. I can't see any answers relating to that film
Mark Lester played Oliver I recall so maybe answer referes to Marks?
^refers
Moidores Token?
Check spelling
and a token is a credit note.
Look up Mucahel oliver, Grand Nationals
Grrr. Michael Oliver
wonder if it could relate to oliver reed ?

sorry I didn't see your answer when I posted .it does seem the best answer yet .tricky little question xx
Thanks mally. I think it was you that first suggested it may be to do with horse racing so i just googled "Oliver horse 1968". Fluffsky will need to check the details but a quick glance supported the idea that it was third time unlucky in the GN in 1968 for Michael Oliver.

Wasn't there another unanswered one in this quiz?
I'm glad someone finally got this one, I've looked everywhere!
Well done fiction-factory (and you'll be even happier after you've checked 'Moidores').
I've been wracking my brain over this one, Italian Al born in Scotland. I think it's probably something Scott.

Thanks everyone perhaps I can now fall asleep without singing songs from oliver !
Happy to have helped and get this one out of the way. Did you get the Scottish Al one?( I'm wondering if it actualy says A1)

Italian Al -gangster!
If you mean Al Capone I suggested that earlier on another thread but he was American rather than Italian. I couldn't work out the full answer either
bump. Anyone?
