Don't have a pattern, but this site might be worth looking at. Project by Glasgow University where all the commonwealth flags were knitted. May be worth contacting them if you have no luck elsewhere? http://knithistory.academicblogs.co.uk/events-and-activities/commonwealth-flags/

A lady named Margaret McGregor has a series of 'knit this' books, there is a Kenyan one but I can only source the kindle version on a foreign site.

May be worth a search round.
lol Maggie google it's always worth a try
just knit a totally black flag and explain it is flying at night
or a grey one a say it's foggy outside

Thank you TonyV and Maggiebee. I have sent an email to the University if they have a copy of a pattern to send me and with regards to the Kindle I am contemplating whether to have a digital copy? Once again Thank you very very much for your help
Can I be nosey and ask why you want to knit a Kenyan flag?

Hi Mexican 18
I was born in Kenya. Even though I have spent most of my life in England, I have not forgotten my 'roots' and consider Kenya my 'home'. So anything Kenyan I am collecting. Therefore I am mad on Kenya. I am going to Kenya 2nd time on holiday this June. Why did you want to know?
I was just being nosey. Now I know.Thank you for explaining.
