What do you think of Zoe Ball's breakfast show so far? Or have you switched to Virgin to stay with Chris Evans? (I see his family are even more involved now....zzzz) For my money, nothing beats Mike Read on United DJs - he's brilliant and has no playlist to adhere to.

Does anyone else remember Jimmy Young on Radio 2 with his recipes from his listeners or when Sarah Kennedy used to do her early morning show?

Yes I do remember Jimmy Young, I never used to listen to him though, I was into radio 1 ( when it was good ) back then.

Oh I miss Sarah, she was ace.

She used to cut interesting things from the days papers with a razor blade and read them out.

I remember the major sulking spats that people got into when Chris Evans took over the breakfast show and all those who were never going to listen to R2 again.....and here it is happening again. Happens every time a new person takes over.....does make me chuckle!
