Connecting Portable Dvd To Tv

I can play my camcorder through my TV (via video) but when I try with my portable DVD player using same lead I'm only getting sound and no picture. I'm using single Av outlet to three prong red yellow & white input

I was hoping that I might be able to find some operating instructions but I can't find any available.
Could it be that the output socket you are using only supplies audio to enable you to use it with headphones? Instructions should tell you.

I've tracked down some instructions, so ignore my previous suggestion.
I can only think that you might have the TV type set wrongly - you need PAL, not NTSC in the settings menu.
