Has Each Day Of The Week Got Its Own Ambiance?

Strange question I know. If I am having time off work and not going on holiday, I always prefer to have for example Thursdays or Fridays (even better) off work than say Monday or Tuesday. When I am out and about, nothing seems to be going on anywhere so I find the early part of the week a bit miserable but as i get towards the weekend it becomes more cheerful and positive. Also if we have a couple of days away, we wouldn't dream of going away in the early part of the week because of this. Is it all in my mind?

No..early week/mid week people tend to be at work so it can feel a bit lifeless.
I used to get Tuesday and Wednesday as my weekend, and I liked it - the world seemed to be less crowded midweek because the world was at work, and that suited me fine.

Now I'm retired I literally never know what day of the week it is; I'm forever having to check with the council website to see which days the bins go out..
When each day seems so similar it takes quite a bit of thought to work out where in the week you are.
