Who else finds it incredibly hard to consign books to the recycling and/or charity shops?

naomi, I hung on to my college medical and psych books for ages.....then I actually looked in them and they read like something from the Edwardian era!
That doesn't happen with mine, Woofgang.
When I take books to a charity shop, I come away with more than I took in - disastrous.
One of my local cooperative stores has table that if you leave a book on it you can take one away with you, a really good ŵay to recycle.
My doctor's surgery has a table like that TonyV. Leave books and if you take one, leave a small donation. All money goes to a hospital in Malawi that we are twinned with.
Also local library sells books for as little as 20p
