Oh gawd Peter...you do make me laugh...in a good way ;)
// but would anyone seriously consider voting for jeremy and his ex-moll Dianne, // modified to be clearer

You mean if he had prodded her more then, she would be more awake now ?

(like a teacher prods a reluctant pupil to make sure he is paying attention)
Donald Telford of the Observer ("small but perfectly formed" - Telford, that is, not the door-stop Sunday which VE used to get a long time ago) to new (female) graduate recruit:

"I intend to [prod] you".

"Well, if you do - and I ever get to find out..."

of course no vote for jeremy and his bidey in dianne. God help May now. Next PM, hope would be Jacob Rees-Mogg.
V-E's post reminds me of Dame Irene Ward who was MP for my constituency. She stood up in the House and said (of Harold Wilson), "I am going to poke the Prime Minister until such time as I get satisfaction".
Which in turn reminds me of the statue of Wellington in Hyde Park where the Duke is depicted in classical mode as a nude Achilles. It had been paid for by public subscription by British women as indicated on the inscription on the plinth:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wellington_Monument,_London

On reading it an early French tourist couldn't resist the comment that "thousands of British gentle-women had contributed to the statue's erection".

You'd be surprised. Last time out 12.7m people voted Labour knowing full well who would be PM if they won the most seats. Also bear in mind that there are many Tory voters (such as me) who have no intention of voting if a GE is held before Brexit is concluded. I am not wasting my time trudging to the polling station to elect another bunch of charlatans and wasters. Add to that a few "new" voters who like the idea of the (undeliverable) goodies that Mr Corbyn will offer them. It won't take much of a swing.
I can't see how Corbyn wouldn't win by default. The incompetence (let's not call it betrayal) of the Tory government will have cost the party any future support by its Leave voters. Whatever, he hasn't yet sipped off irredeemably Labour's Leavers.
Strange elision there:

Whatever's in Corbyn's mind, and whatever he might do in government...
Who is the lady that sits next to Corbyn now most of the time ? Its like watching a ventriloquist and her dummy most of the time , she seems to be prompting him a lot , its quite annoying .
As their wives or mistresses get older rich or powerful men tend to replace them with younger versions.
Awe. Looks like I’m off Wolfgang’ s xmas card list ,,
Are you sure you ever were on it, anne? ;)

What, pray, is wrong with 'posters clamouring for pics of Diane' ?? Wasn't aware I was 'clamouring' !! As you frequently point out yourself mamya, you don't have to participate in a thread if it doesn't interest you, or are YOU different somehow ...
As to the OP, I am a Labour supporter, but no way on this earth will I vote for Corbyn, not, knowhow, never !!!
No, just a run of the mill ABer like all of us.
