Absolutely no chance of Veganuary or dry Jan for me. My birthday falls in the middle of the month and I'll be looking forward to a rare piece of cow.
Washed down with a nice red?
Practically drowning in red, 1ozzy... ;-)
Rest assured LadyCg, no animals were harmed in the making of the red.

Apart from those that were displaced so vineyards could flourish.
Only via livestock!
not a chance, though i do eat more fish these days. don;t suppose they eat that either thinking on it.
Are you joining in yourself Canary?
It wouldn't be a great sacrifice, apart from black tea and coffee.
Quorn as a stand-in for meat would be more than acceptable.
Vegetarian no problem but vegan is a step too far for me. It is a lot easier now though with so many easy cook products and meat substitutes.
I find it quite ridiculous that burgers and sausages etc are made out of some sort of plant carp, why therefore is meat not made to look like a cabbage.
Burgers dont look like meat, they are a patty made of whatever you like. They ingredients vary widely; some are mostly meat while others contain very little or none at all.

I think not - probably kick off the New Year with a haggis ;-)

Some entertaining replies, thanks everyone.

Although I earlier stated I'm unlikely to take part, the media bombardment of delicious looking recipes/dishes does tempt me - perhaps I'll give it a try next month. Call it Fibreary perhaps ;-D

See about 24 minutes in on this link video - vegan breakfast, looks delicious but although the tofu scrambled eggs look delicious I do wonder how they taste ! https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0by9tj6/dirty-vegan-series-1-episode-3
