What I cannot understand is, if there was a "creator" , why wait 14 million years to send jesus to save us ?
//As you can see from Nailits post, I seem to arouse a lot of anger which translates into insult and mockery//

Eh?
Paranoid again much? Try to reply to people's questions without resorting to You-Tube and you might begin to aquire a little respect.
Nailit - You respecting or disrespecting me is of no consequence whatever to me.
Your opinions of me are meaningless.
I wonder why you use up time and energy criticising me.
If you don't like the vids, don't watch them. If you don't like my views, don't read them. It's simple.
In fact, do yourself a favour and completely ignore me. You might find yourself happier.
Alright, guys, break it up please.
Looking forward to the new thread.
//Nailit - You respecting or disrespecting me is of no consequence whatever to me//
Likewise.

//Your opinions of me are meaningless//
Also likewise.

//I wonder why you use up time and energy criticising me//
Probably for the same reason that you use yours to criticize those that disagree with you.

//If you don't like the vids, don't watch them. If you don't like my views, don't read them. It's simple//
And if you dont like people responding to them, then dont post them, its simple.

//In fact, do yourself a favour and completely ignore me. You might find yourself happier//
Nah! Couldnt ignore you. Youd miss me ;-)
Nailit. You are right. I would miss you. I would have to come looking for you.
I got to hit the sack before this becomes a love story theland.
You know how the gossips are here on AB?
Me too. Your photograph is by my bedside as always.
Criminy, I want to break it up even more now you're basically planning to sleep together :O
> The scientific, mathematical facts, seem to say so

If you want to use scientific, mathematical facts to answer the question "Is there a God?", I suggest you read the 14 short pages that comprise chapter 1 of Stephen Hawking's book, "Brief Answers To The Big Questions", which are dedicated to that particular question.

His conclusion: no, there is not a God. "It flies in the face of everything we know in science."
Theland - // Yes but I am not primaevil.//

Primitive man sought explanations for things that he could not comprehendto make sense of his world, and comfort himself - so do you.

In that sense, you are identical.
Khandro. Can you explain your original question? Believing in a creator requires faith. Not believing in a creator requires no faith.
