If you’re at a loose end tonight I highly recommend Manchester By The Sea on BBC2 at 21.45.

Casey Afleck deservedly won a Best Actor Oscar for his performance.

Looking forward to it.
Thanks Chill just seen this. I'm starting from the beginning now on iplayer. Looks as if it might be good.
It's unintelligible....
I do want to watch this film but not at this time of night
I’ve taped it.
HEY zacs dont you know "taping" went out with button up shoes?
Grim and unentertaining imo.
But worth the watch for this:
It was well worth watching and I agree with Shoota, an excellent soundtrack.

Glad you enjoyd it Mamya.
Afleck's performance and that police station scene in particular were memorable, IMHO.
Indeed it was, there was so much tension at times you thought he'd shatter into a thousand pieces, beautifully portrayed.
It was brilliant; tragic but beautiful and all the more moving by the soundtrack.
Started watching this series Escape from Dannemora based on a true story. You might want to take a look.
Nice one bednobs. ;-)
Fuming ! I set it to record and nothing happened !!
