Did anyone else find the sound quality diabolical so some bits of the dialogue were incomprehensible?

The sound quality was perfect for my viewing of Call The Midwife
Yes! I thought it was me or my telly. Turning the volume up did no good.

Pastafreak - I totally agree with you - turning up volume was no help whatsoever!
I watched it and recorded it, when I seen this thread I had another quick look at a bit of it, still no problem with my sound quality, I'm glad to say.
Maybe it's our tellys. I always struggle with CTM. I even shift the telly around sometimes...no difference.
Maybe it's in certain areas Pasta, I never have a problem
I always use subtitles these days. I'm not deaf at all but do find the actors don't say their lines very clearly.
Yes you are right the sound quality was diabolical my wife says its you, you are going deaf in your old age ,glad to prove her wrong
I watched it and had no problem with sound. Watched most of it with my hands over my eyes though !!
No problem here either.

I watched it on iplayer and had no problem.
