I saw this on You Tube yesterday.

She has more gumption and sense than 90% of our politicians. Why can’t they see what the rest of the world can?

I agree cassa, there is something refreshing in her 'Australian' straight-forwardness, I particularly like her simple question, "what are you scared of?"
Brexit should be good for Australia: they'll get a better trade deal out of Britain alone than out of the whole EU, where you have to negotiate with 27 countries rather than one. Her interests are not Britain's.

Same with Trump: weakening another country strengthens his own.
I would purely LOVE to see the reaction if a Brit tried to give advice to Oz
Her interests don't have to coincide with the UK's in order to state the blatantly obvious.
She actually said she wouldn’t give advice but she was asked and answered the question woofgang.

And she should ask the question, what are you afraid of, to the remainers. A few will chunder on about trade being easier within the EU (without admitting the benefits of world trade) and some will even whinge about not being able to go on holiday or take that gap year (when in fact they will still be able to do all those things).
in other words cassa, she set up the situation so she could give advice while pretending not to!

A couple of rather jejune posts, completely devoid of content, avoiding comment of what was actually said during the interview.

(ditto jno)

Does it matter?
^ that was the Woofgang.
not to me LB
although obviously it does to khandro who feels that he has to resort to insult.
Question Author
woofgang; Where's the "insult"? I simply state a fact
"bu66er Europe, they need you more than you need them" -
"you were always going to get a dodgy deal" -
Gawd I wish we'd hired her to negotiate for us.
Peta is correct, plan for a no deal brexit.

Question Author
woofgang; I fail to see how pointing out that you have twice avoided comment on the content of the interview, is an insult, but if insulted you are, I withdraw my remark.
Mandela you obviously didn’t read my post.
