Clues and Hints only required please as I'm struggling with the last few

22. What people go down the pub for (4.2.9) - I know Mamya gave a lovely clue 'A liquid measure to begin' in another thread but I can only think of pint and 'a pint of' is only 7 letters and its not really an animal - help! Then GoodGoalie gave a clue 'The collective noun could be what Scots call an alcoholic drink...' but I can only think of dram, and that doesn't seem right? Sorry Mamya and GoodGoalie :o(

23. Two before a quarter of an acre (5.2.4) - may begin with B?

28. What happens to snow in wind (5.2.4) - am I THAT thick that I can't get this one!!

Thanking you all in advance :o)

15 Another name for a March (of Troops etc) also a row of shops.
March = parade, but does that = shops?

If so haven't found an animal to go with it.

Still unsure about 22 - I can only find the 8 letter one.
Yes, Parade is correct - large lumbering animals.

22 Is on the linked list - GG has given the collective noun.

Sorry you are still stumped.
Am I right with Tarka for 36?

Just going to have to go with my 8 letter one - I can't see a 9 letter on that list with the 4 starting B!
Got 22 - from another site!
No to Tarka - look for something that could go about/around the collective noun in Q7.
Would you believe I had previously put that in for the Troy one - thinking wooden!!!! - but I realised my mistake earlier today!!!!

Yipee I can post this now!

MamyaLynne... ...referring to Q22 which gave me so many problems !... ...I noticed that I had the same animal for Q22 and Q6. I was wondering if you or anyone else had the same? Didn't notice till I was enveloping it so just thought, oh well, too late now :o(
