E-Cig - 12% - Fertility Treatment Referral

We have potentially been referred for the above, and they've told me to stop for 3 months clear my e-cig before any treatment can commence.

I am cynical about this, as there is nothing online that would indicate that Carbon Monoxide is found in E-Cigs. I currently vape 12% strength.

They (clinic) said on phone this morning that I'll have a reading of CM in my system when tested again at the end of August if I've not yet stopped, and they will not proceed with any treatment that may be required.

I am trying to stop and have till the end of May, although I know I am going to struggle. Guess my question is that if I struggle to stop entirely - can they tell if I've been vaping 12% E-cig or not?
They have told me they can by using the breath test....

Thanks in advance,
Frilly

Annnnd......can't delay any, as time is running out - time isn't on my side let's say.....!
NOW, NOW, NOW lol!
You don't need me lecturing you but I will, as I feel so strongly about this.
You have been given the best motivation to get healthy and stop pumping chemicals round your system - you certainly don't want that when you are pregnant nor the stress of giving up your vaping.

I empathise. I really struggled to stop smoking when I was diagnosed with asthma and I really didn't want to but I did. It's the perfect time of year to change your habits and your routine. I got a punchbag and punched the living daylights out of it when I needed to smoke. If that wasn't convenient I did star jumps or lunges, went for a brisk walk when possible.
Stop trying to find a way to 'cheat' the system and put up with a few weeks of hell for your own long term health and the best possible start to your pregnancy.

Good luck!
I don't get it, to have the chance of a child I would have given up anything without question. Nicotine is a poison and so I wish you all the luck in the world but if you don't do what is asked of you now you will spend your life with a mess of what it's, and regrets that you missed out. Get help with winding down the nicotine percentage please don't miss this chance.
TTT I said the same thing. That fertility treatment is very restricted now and in many areas not available at all. I also said Frilly Pancake was lucky to be offered treatment and should do as asked. But my answer was removed. I do not understand why.
