Microwave Has Condensation Outside Above Door

I've noticed that my Panasonic m/w has condensation just above where the door opens on the outside.Does this mean it's not sealed properly, and is it still OK to use?

Have you noticed any steam escaping from the door? Have you covered the vents which are usually on top? The escape of steam is necessary but leaking microwave radiation is not good.

You can buy a cheap tool for checking microwave ovens for radiation leaks. It looks very much like the mains-tester screwdrivers that are sold all over the place and cost about the same price (less than £10). It's about 20 years since I got mine, so they may not still be available.
I think anyway, so long as you don't stand right next to the oven all the time it's cooking, there won't be any significant danger from it even if there is a small radiation leak.

Thank you for your replies.
Johnk - the vents are on the side towards the back.
I thought that the door was an airtight seal. I will watch and wait I think, and not stand too near to it when it's on!
