My father brought me a 1 egg frying pan and my husband bought me a small set of cutlery, just enjoyed an omelette without any waste which is fantastic but the dogs don’t look so happy!
What’s even your most thoughtful gift?

well i did very well - i only had to ask "did you keep the receipt" once. most thoughtful was my husband sneakily took away my pandora bracelet which has a charm on it for each of our children (3 different snowflakes, 2 different stars) and got the newest star fr my daughter who was born in october. He even remembered what order the charms go on

ps the "have you got the receipt" gift was from my six year old who made my husband buy me from her https://www.marksandspencer.com/pearl-effect-crystal-necklace/p/p60194248?image=SD_01_T06_3208E_K0_X_EC_90&color=CREAM&;prevPage=plp&pdpredirect
of course i told her i love it
ad of course im never going to be able to take it back as she'll expect me to wear it! what an ungrateful so and so i am
I actually do love that necklace, bednobs.

Yes I can see your quandary bedknobs I find those types of necklaces ott much prefer a classic thin silver chain myself. But you could keep it for special occasions so it doesn’t get ruined
// able to travel after 3 years of operations and convalescence//

yeah three years is a bit of a long sentence - - - I found a yar wearing enough ( and second time around, it was worse)
but lady cg it's horrible on, heavy, sparkly. I prefer understated too
Ooh, I’d tell daughter it’s very heavy on my neck and hurts, and that I wanted her to help me pick a new one.
Gawd blimey, who let the troll out.
It's more who is letting the nasty stay on the site, Tony...x
Very true, gness.
/// but the dogs don’t look so happy! ///

That bit has really got me chuckling RR ;-D

My son gave me a necklace made of melon seeds one year. (He was only about six at the time.) He used to ask why I never wore it. I told him I was saving it for best. I've still got it :)

This year he got me a book of David Hockney pictures, which was a total surprise and really lovely.
Awww that's lovely Jo, I'd have worn it, that's just wonderful x
Is AuntLydia always this nasty???
I bought a one egg frying pan, RR.....then I met Dave........ ;-)
Melon seed necklaces are most uncomfortable but certainly fall into the thoughtful category.
Oh yes, Sharon......in every AB name she has had....x
Yes sharon, very much so, she has always been foul to me, both under her present name and her previous one, and the one before that she targeted Gness as well.
