I am not sure where to ask this so please forgive me if I should be elsewhere.
I have a pair of Timberland boots. They are quite the most comfortable I have had for years for my less than perfect feet. But now they are badly worn. I thought I needed to throw them away but, as I said, they are very comfortable. A young friend said they can be repaired which surprises me.
Can anyone clarify for me please? Can they be repaired?

Depends on the amount of damage. Take them to a cobbler and ask there.
I swear i've heard before that Timberland boots have a lifetime warranty
I think what i heard was wrong information though.

It would depend how the boot is damaged to determine if it's fixable.
Expect to spend at least £50 on a refurbish by Timberland(my shoemaker charges £100). Try your local cobbler.

Sorry for the delay in replying but I've been entertaining. Thanks for the advice. I'll try the local cobbler for starters. I really hope they can be repaired. They are SO comfortable.

Went to the cobblers today and, whilst it is a bit difficult, he CAN mend them. Great! Glad I came here. Happy Christmas to you all.

Yay! Just out of nosiness, how much is he charging you? Is it a new sole and heel?
He did not say how much. (We'll talk about that in the New Year when he says he can get the necessary bit for front part). He said he can't do a complete replacement of the sole. It will be a heel and toe job.
