"He should have said stupid old cow,"

Such sparkling wit and repartee.
Peter Pedant, are you under some strange delusion that I wrote the words you attach my name to in your response timed at 17.35?
"He should have said stupid old cow" Judge for yourself.
It pains me to say it but I have to side with the learned judge on this despite our serious differences elsewhere :-)
Gulliver, //"He should have said stupid old cow" Judge for yourself.//

On your gems of dubious wisdom I'd bet that most of us judged for ourselves a long time ago.
The polite expression would have been, "Foolish ageing female bovine".

Indeed they do - but as I have pointed out, not everyone is the Leader of Her Majesty's Opposition taking part in a televised debate in the House Of Commons.
jack; //The polite expression would have been, "Foolish ageing female bovine".//
Wrong on all counts; you can't talk like that today! shame on you!

"Foolish", - an affront to the mentally challenged. "Ageing", - ageist, and very disturbing to senior citizens. "Female" - too precise and upsetting to the gender-fluids. "Bovine", an outrageous insult, maliciously aimed at defenceless animals, and very upsetting to vegans.
Wash you mouth out, please.
Just shorten it to Silly Moo.
