I've booked to go and see this on New years Eve, at my local cinema.
Has anyone been to this, and more to the point do I have to get dressed up? :-\

Do you have a favourite character ?
Yes I have been and 90% of us dressed up
Question Author
I've never seen the film or the stage play. So I don't have a favourite character.
Am I reading this right ...you've never seen it ?

Well in a word, no, you don't have to, but if the audience is anything like the Ozzies, you'll find most are dressed up and know every word, gesture, bump and grind in the show, and act accordingly !!
Cor ....where have you been ?? Do you know any of the music ??

I suggest you google and have a look .....
Don't pelvic thrust at the wrong moment...
A but more info .....Tim Curry made a name for himself as the lead, but for drop dead gorgeous, have a look at David Bedella !!
Absolutely fantastic show that everyone gets involved in
I went to see it years ago. Nicholas Parsons was The Narrator, wearing stockings and suspenders, and he was excellent. I was with a largish group and none of us dressed up....we were the only ones.
Biggins was our narrator and he invited us into the after show party
Did you go?
going as Brad is probably the easiest - https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/493918284113250419/
but be prepared to be called "***".....
Absolutely Rocky free booze and got to meet everyone it was a blast
you've obviously been in a time warp

After looking at the costumes that the audience wear, can any of you laydeez lend me a basque?;-)
I keep all my basques in one exit
(sorry, punch-line of a very, very long joke)

Am jealous, go, enjoy and leave inhibitions at the door xx
The funniest sight of the evening, for me, was when we were having a pre-show drink in a pub down the road and a large group of curly-haired men wandered in, took off their trench-coats and wandered up to the bar in basques and stockings.....the 'regulars' couldn't stop goggling...LoL

You'll have a blast, melv... :o)
I think Dave has one or two, Melv....I'll look them out.....fishnets too?..... ;-)
Question Author
Fishnets are my default position, gness;-)
that explains dave's manflu, walking round the house in a basque and fishnets in december ...
