Thanks for the heads up.

I've just been out in the garden and managed to locate the constellation of Gemini, where all the shooting stars appear to originate.

I've seen one up to now (better than none I suppose), but there's still quite a bit of light pollution at the mo, with me being quite near to a main road .... and them pesky neighbours won't turn their lights off, no matter how much I shout at them over the fence lol.

Brew time now and time to warm up ..... I might try again later before I go to bed :)
I went out a couple of times over night and didn’t see one. Which tbh isn’t unusual.

We had a fare amount of cloud but there was a patch in the middle with the Big Dipper in sparkly sight but sadly no meteors.

I didn't manage to catch any either! Pretty cool that you spotted the Gemini constellation, i find it hard to find certain ones, Gemini being one of them
Cloudy as feck in the Shire so despite looking several times didn't see any. Sad times :(
I went out again before I went to bed and managed to see a few more.
It was a bit strange at first, cos the position of the stars had changed due to the rotation of the earth.
There was a bit of light cloud but I managed to glimpse a few.
Blink and you'll miss them

We may see some tonight.... It was the peak last night, so the chances were higher, but still have a chance tonight. It's nice it gets dark earlier so there is even more opportunity to see some however it's cloudy my way!

Glad you saw some Giz that's awesome
I'm in a pub in Manchester at the mo, so the chances of me seeing any tonight are slim to none
Question Author
if you see one you may see two
Shame you can't give yourself best answer lol.
