Can a dental crown be re-attached if the tooth post has broken as well? It's one of my front teeth, so very noticeable. I'm going to ring the dentist as soon as they open but I wondered what can be done.

I've had this happen - they can cut the tooth and insert a mechanical post to which to attach a crown.

Thanks Androcles, that makes me feel a bit better.
Dentist will put a new post in if the one you have has broke so crown can be "attached "
