I've just watched the film Grand Budapest and there is a scene where Jeff Goldblum is being followed and walks into a museum in order to escape. It's a scene from a classic black & white film and I can't think which one. It's doing my head in!
I think the hero is on a tram and us being followed by a baddie on a motorbike. He gets off near a museum, crosses over a square and walks into the museum. I could be wrong but I think he's visited an old wooden farm house where someone has either been killed or has gone missing.

The shot of the baddie on the motorbike is a reference to 'Lawrence of Arabia' and the shot of Kovacs going into the museum references Hitchcock's 'Torn Curtain'.

There are lots of other scenes in the film that reference other movies the director enjoyed.
