Guilty Pleasure?

After 10 years a widow I finally allowed myself to admit that I really like having the bed to myself!
I still miss him, but oh.... the lovely feel to be able to turn and move in the bed not having to worry about disturbing him.
I enjoy not having to cling on the side of the bed and clutch the duvet to hang on to it while he lays spreadeagled across the middle with arms and legs everywhere.
Anybody else have a secret guilty pleasure?

Hopkirk... There's nothing wrong in appreciating all types of music.
My playlists are really odd to most people.

Mine is a solitary pleasure, uncorking a second bottle of an evening.
Mrs,
that's a very deep love you must have had there.
I have to say, rowanwitch, I'm glad you corrected your typo in the poem :) I thought 'lumbered' spoilt it a bit until I saw your next post. Lovely though.

My guilty pleasure: my husband was in hospital recently, and I loved being able to play the music I like and watch what I wanted on tv. Isn't that awful?
Toasted bagels, cream cheese, banana, honey....
No Clover. I have pleasure in playing my music when there are no other distractions around.
Mostly my pleasures are guilt free but..sometimes... I will treat myself to a small jar of caviar and will eat it on my own, off a spoon, with a small glass of Grey Goose.
My most indulged pleasure is expensive perfume but its totally guilt free. :-D
Although I am missing my Mrs while she is in hospital, enjoying the bed all to myself lol
