Yes a lovely story, well done Royal mail.
As a Postman's daughter I know of many such incidents over the years and without doubt they always bring a smile and sometimes a tear.x
How lovely :-)
What a good heart! There's still a few out there....
Beautiful and heartwarming, marval. Thank you.
That's lovely tears in my eyes
That lovely and gives you faith in humankind xxx
I thought that was so sweet. I saw that just after I'd seen this:-

I think my mascara is faulty because it was all down my face........

Oh, thank you barmaid, I now have tears in my eyes. What a lucky dog, and new friends too.
Oh my goodness.x
Thanks for posting the link to a lovely story, Marval, and thank you too, Barmaid, for the equally lovely doggy video.

Returning to the theme of children with parents in heaven, and combining that with tear-jerking videos, take a look at this young lad (in the Dutch version of The Voice Kids) singing the song which was played at his mother's funeral.

Thank you Buenchico, I will watch that later.
I really should buy some better eye make up, mine seems to have washed off. What with the original story and the videos, that's me finished.
I am clearly alone in hating this story.
I doubt that Bednobs, just the only one so far on this thread - and there's nothing wrong with that.
Oh my, BM, that made me cry.
I just 5hink it could be very confusing for the boy. If a postman can get a letter to the dad why can't they visit? Why can't the dad reply? I suppose I am rathere coloured by the fact I get loads of questions about heaven from my six year old who goes to a religious school. I always tell her that not everyone believes in heaven including me :)
That's a fair assessment and I think we all deal with those questions in our own way depending on the child - it's not always easy to gauge is it?
That is wonderful and I love that picture of him as a tiny tot with his Daddy - what a waste of a young man, wonder how he died.
Oh flippin' 'eck Barmaid, I'm crying again now, it's all I seem to do nowadays ...
